Data Partners Inc. (www.datapartners.com), a nationwide supplier of marketing data and database marketing services, is searching for an experienced Account Manager to work in our fast-paced, but fun and casual, office in Ft. Myers (near Sanibel Island).
Our Account Managers retain and grow revenue through proactive business-to-business outreach to, and consultation with, contacts in existing accounts. The Account Manager's goals are retaining existing account revenue, up-selling current contacts, and identifying cross-sell opportunities by generating awareness and interest in Data Partners' direct marketing data products and services.
The Account Manager's primary responsibility involves daily telephone and email outreach to existing clients to uncover growth opportunities within the account and regenerate specific interest and opportunities with dormant accounts.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with existing clients
- Keen eye for detail and ability to generate accurate work product
- Function well in a fast-paced deadline-oriented workplace
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Effectively communicate with internal personnel and external clients and vendors
- Must be independent, self-motivated, and success driven, yet be able and willing to take direction
- Ability to analyze data, formulate recommendations, and create effective proposals that lead to new business generation
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook required; experience with Goldmine software, MS PowerPoint, and any relational database software (e.g., MS Access) a big plus
Education & Experience
- Four-year degree required.
- Minimum 2 years experience in sales-based environment
