Data Partners Inc. (www.datapartners.com), a nationwide supplier of marketing data and database marketing services, is searching for an experienced Project Manager to work in our fast-paced, but fun and casual, office in Ft. Myers (near Sanibel Island).
The Project Manager gathers and interprets job specifications, facilitates interdepartmental sharing of job-related information, performs quality checks on job output, and manages workflow on each order from beginning to end. The Project Manager proactively ensures on-time delivery of accurate orders. Customer service is also a key component of this position, as our Project Managers often work with our clients to clarify job specifications, coordinate file transfers, and provide updates on job status.
Responsibilities
- Gather and clarify job specifications from the sales staff or clients
- Assist sales staff in creating customized or unique data solutions to meet client needs
- Coordinate the creation of work orders and ensure all required information is received from the client
- Create detailed job specifications and enter same into our project management software
- Monitor job status and workflow to ensure deadlines are met
- Contact clients to clarify job instructions and provide updates on job status
- Manage workflow for multiple jobs/projects
- Review output for quality control prior to sending to client
- Making and answering customer service calls to ensure client satisfaction
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The Project Manager must thrive in a dynamic multitasking environment, work effectively in a team setting, and aggressively manage multiple projects with a strong sense of urgency. Must be goal oriented and deadline sensitive. Doing “whatever it takes” to get the job done quickly and correctly is the hallmark of the Project Manager. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently and willingness to adapt to the ever changing needs of our company and clientele. A high sense of urgency with organizational and creative problem solving skills to match is essential.
Education & Experience
- At least one year of project management or customer service experience is required.
- Bachelors degree preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as general computer skills required.
